pantastic flanet
I liked it a lot. Had I been watching it alone, I might have gotten nightmares. I thought the music was more boards of canada-esque, but I'm much smarter than Aaron, so it only makes sense that I would make a better comparison than him. BAM~!
In the beginning it seemed like they were trying to parody the way humans treat animals, although the focus changed later... I had to leave before it was over, so I couldn't really tie it up in my head... any thoughts on theme Seumas?

I have nothing to say, as I've never made it all the way through Fantastic Planet, but thanks to whoever linked to Charlie on the sidebar there. Maybe it'll provide some movie night inspiration...
I have to see this. They were playing it at the Underground when I was there in September. I read the subtitles, but there was no sound, and I decided to go out for a smoke and come in to watch bands instead of watching the whole movie.
